I started at Cambridge Montessori in 2006 as part time outside teacher and developed a passion for the Montessori philosophy and way of learning. Watching children develop independence and life skills through the Montessori equipment. Seeing children grow into capable and competent and confident members of society is important to me.
I live on the out skirts of Te Awamutu with my husband Ken and our two children, Riley and Tegan, two cats, one goat and five fish.
I graduated from Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa / NZ Childcare Association in 2012 with a bachelor in teaching (ECE). My journey with early childhood education began at Pokuru Playcentre, Te Awamutu, where both children attended; they then went on to attend Rewi St Kindergarten, Te Awamutu. While studying I worked for Special Education Ministry of Education as a support worker for children in early childhood centres.
In my time outside of working with your children, my own children have me running around after them, taking Tegan to guitar lessons and St John. Riley loves his bike, well use to love his bike; he has just gotten his restricted drivers licence so his bike is now sitting in the shed.
I am into my fourth year of Montessori philosophy and my learning journey is still on-going. Guiding and supporting your child to be competent and confident learners through their interest makes early childhood education fun and different each day.

I’m Bronwyn Wills-Tiddy, one of the teachers here at Raleigh st Montessori Preschool. I live just out of Te Awamutu with my husband Richard and cat Tom. We also have 13 sheep and usually 20 lambs each spring. I was brought up on a sheep farm at Reporoa so still like to play at being a farmer.
We have 3 adult children and one son-in-law. When I’m not at work I enjoy biking, walking, scrapbooking and being with friends/family.
I am a qualified ECE teacher, but just new to Montessori. At work you will often find me outside, which I love. Allowing children to explore the outdoor environment is a passion of mine.
I consider it an honour to be with your children each day, and hope we have many happy hours together.
