Helen Aston

My name is Helen and I am the director of Cambridge Montessori Preschool and co-director of Magnolia Montessori, with their headteacher, Trish Thompson. 

In 1998 my family settled in Cambridge, in my husband’s hometown. Two years later, my frustration in the lack of space and choice provided in early childhood education resulted in the establishment of Cambridge Montessori Preschool. What a surprise, I am still there. Surprises have continued as I have almost finished my master’s degree – you’re never too old to learn. When I get spare time, I love planning gardening projects, travelling to spend time with family and friends, or a good murder/mystery on Netflix. It is a privilege to share the Montessori learning journey for your child with you and to be a part of this community.
